Outline the Trunk
Start by drawing two slightly curved vertical lines to outline the palm tree trunk.
Add Texture to the Trunk
Add horizontal lines across the trunk to give it a textured appearance.
Form the Base of the Trunk
Draw a wavy horizontal line to form the base of the trunk.
Outline the First Leaf Stem
Now, draw a long, curved line above the tree trunk to form the main stem of the first palm leaf.
Form the First Leaf Frond
Form the elongated and pointy shape of the leaf frond around the main stem.
Add More Stems
Add more long, curving lines to draw more stems.
Draw the Leaf Fronds
Repeat the process by drawing another long, pointy shape around each stem.

Let’s add a background to our drawing of a palm tree by first creating the horizon line.
Draw the Waves
Draw the water waves by creating wavy horizontal lines.
Add a Sandy Texture
Add some dots to create the sandy texture where the palm tree is planted.
Form the Clouds
Form the long, fluffy shape of the clouds.
Color the Palm Tree
Shade the leaves of the palm tree with green. Next, use brown to color the trunk.
