Outline the Forehead
Begin by forming the donkey’s forehead by drawing a curved line.
Add the Eyes
Add the donkey’s oval-shaped eyes.
Form the Muzzle
Form the elongated shape of the donkey’s muzzle.
Add the Nostrils
Add two tiny nostrils on the donkey’s muzzle.
Draw the Mouth
Draw a wavy line to form the donkey’s mouth.
Attach the Ears
Attach the donkey’s long, pointed ears. Make sure to erase overlapping lines.
Outline the Body
Outline the donkey’s long oval-shaped body.
Add the Legs
Add the donkey’s tall legs attached to the base of its body.
Outline the Hooves
Outline the donkey’s hooves at the end of its legs.
Attach the Tail
Attach the long tail to the back of its body.
Draw the Mane
Draw the donkey’s mane on its head and back.
Add Flowers
Add some flowers growing around the donkey as shown.
Draw Grass
Draw pointy lines to add some grass.
Outline the Clouds
Outline the clouds by drawing large, bumpy shapes.
Color the Mane, Tail, Eyes and Hooves
Color the eyes with black snd white. Then, use a dark shade of gray to fill in the mane, nostrils, hooves, tail and the inner ear.
Shade the Body
Color the ears, underbelly, the underside of its legs, as well as the area around its eyes with white. Next, fill in the snout area with white and dark gray. Then, use light gray to color the rest of the donkey’s body.
Color the Grass and Flowers
Color the glass and stems of the flowers with green. Next, fill the flowers with orange and shades of yellow.
Fill in the Sky
Fill in the sky with light blue and the clouds with white.
