Form the Forehead

Begin by forming the horse’s forehead by drawing a curved line.
Outline the Eye

Outline the horse’s eye by drawing a pointed oval.
Draw the Muzzle

Draw the horse’s muzzle by making a curved line extending from its forehead.
Add the Nostrils

Add the horse’s nostrils by drawing small pointed ovals on its muzzle.
Outline the Mouth

Add the wavy outline of its mouth.
Attach the Ears

Form the horse’s pointed ears attached on top of its head. Don’t forget to erase any overlapping lines.
Outline the Body

Draw two curving lines connected to the horse’s head to form its body.
Add the Legs

Add the horse’s four upright legs connected to the base of its body.
Outline the Hooves

Outline the horse’s hooves attached to the bottom of its legs.
Draw the Mane

Draw the horse’s mane on its head and along its back.
Attach the Tail

Attach the horse’s long, flowy tail.
Color the Eye, Nostrils and Hooves

Color the eye with black and white. Next, fill in the hooves and nostrils with dark brown.
Fill in the Mane and Tail

Fill in the horse’s mane and tail with brown.
Color the Body

Shade the horse’s head, body and legs with light orange.
Add Shading to the Coat

Add hints of brown to the horse’s muzzle and legs.
