How to Draw a Baby Frog

Draw the Head
Start by drawing a curved line to form the baby frog’s head.
Form the Eye Bumps
Form the eye bumps on the top part of the frog’s head by creating two curved lines.
Add the Eye
Add the large, rounded eye below the eye bump. Then, draw a pointed oval shape for the frog’s pupil.
Draw the Mouth
Draw a slightly curving diagonal line to form the frog’s mouth.
Form the Body
Form the elongated outline of the frog’s body connected to its head.
Add the Nostril
Draw the frog’s tiny nostril.
Draw the Front Leg
Now, draw the visible front leg of the frog by making two curved lines. Make sure to erase any overlapping lines.
Attach the Webbed Feet
Form the shape of the frog’s webbed feet as shown.
Draw the Hind Leg
Next, draw the frog’s folded hind leg.
Add the Hind Webbed Foot
Draw a long webbed foot attached to the end of its hind leg.
Create a Lily Pad
Create a circular lily pad for the baby frog to rest on. Then, add the veins of the lily pad by drawing wavy lines.
Color the Eye
Color the iris with yellow. Next, fill in the pupil with black. Then, use white to add some reflective spots to the eye.
Shade the Body
Shade the baby frog’s body with light green.
Add Spots
Add the spotted pattern on the frog’s back using a very dark shade of green.
Add Shading to the Lily Pad
Use vibrant shades of green to color the lily pad. Then, fill in the water in the background with light blue.
