Hey kiddos! Let's dive into a fun lesson on how to draw the Titanic. Imagine sailing the high seas with your pencil as we sketch this historic ship.

Good. Grab your blank paper, trusty pencil, and some colorful crayons or colored pencils. Follow my lead. I’ll show you in each drawing step and precisely how to draw each part of the Titanic. You’ll also notice that I am indicating all new lines by drawing in a red line. Here we go...

Lesson: Draw the Titanic
Today we'll draw the Titanic. This lesson has bunch of steps because of the details here. Don't worry, I'll show you each of the steps including how to color in this iconic ship.
Outline the Deck
Begin by making a slightly curved horizontal line to outline the main deck of Titanic.
Form the Bow and Stern
Draw the curving shape of the front part of the ship, known as the bow, on the right side of the drawing. Now, form the stern on the left side of the drawing.
Draw the Waterline
Form the waterline, where the hull touches the water, by drawing a wavy horizontal line.
Outline the Horizon Line
Draw a straight horizontal line behind the Titanic to add the horizon line.
Add Ocean Waves
Now, add short, wavy lines to form the ocean waves.
Outline the Hull
Outline the hull by creating a horizontal line along the ship.
Attach the Poop Deck
Attach the poop deck at the stern of the ship.
Form the Upper Deck
Form the outline of the ship’s upper deck.
Add the Portholes
Draw a series of squares along the ship to outline the portholes.
Attach the Funnels
Add four evenly spaced funnels on top of the upper deck.
Draw Smoke from the Funnels
Draw bumpy shapes to form the smoke coming from the funnels.
Outline the Masts
Add two thin diagonal rods to draw the masts.
Attach the Rigging
Attach the rigging that supports the masts by drawing diagonal lines.
Draw Clouds:
Draw the fluffy shape of the clouds.
Color the Ocean
Use shades of blue to color the ocean.
Shade the Hull and Decks
Color the hull with black and red. Next, fill in the decks with white. Then, shade the portholes on the hull with yellow, and the portholes on the decks with black.
Fill in the Masts and Funnels
Fill in the masts with dark brown. Now, shade the funnels with black and yellow. Then, color the smoke coming out of the funnels with white.
Shade the Sky
Shade the sky with light shades of blue. Then, color the clouds with white and light blue.
