Outline the Reindeer’s Head
First, draw the curving outline of the reindeer’s head.
Draw the Eye and Nose
Create a circular eye in the middle of the reindeer’s head. Then, add a triangular nose.
Form the Snout
Form the curving outline of the reindeer’s snout. Then, draw its mouth by creating two small curved lines below the nose.
Attach the Ears
Attach two pointed ears on the sides of the reindeer’s head.
Outline the Antlers
Outline the thin, branch-like antlers attached on top of the reindeer’s head.
Draw the Scarf
Draw a scarf around the reindeer’s neck.
Form the Reindeer’s Body
Form the elongated outline of the reindeer’s body.
Attach the Tail
Attach the short, pointy tail.
Add the Legs
Add the reindeer’s long legs attached to the base of its body. Make sure to erase any overlapping lines.
Outline the Hooves
Outline the shape of the reindeer’s hooves connected to the ends of its legs.
Draw Santa’s Eyes and Nose
Draw two circles to form Santa’s eyes. Next, add two ovals above the eyes to draw his eyebrows. Then, outline his large, oval nose.
Form the Beard
Form Santa’s long, fluffy beard.
Add the Santa Hat
Draw the fluffy outline of Santa’s hat. Next, form the triangular shape of the hat’s body. Then, attach a fluffy ball on the tip of the hat.
Draw Santa’s Torso
Draw two curving lines to outline Santa’s round torso. Then, create two circular buttons.
Attach the Belt
Outline the horizontal strip of the belt. Then, draw vertical lines to add the belt buckle.
Form the Bottom of Santa’s Coat
Form the bottom of Santa’s coat below his belt as shown. Next, draw the bumpy outline of the coat’s hem.
Add the Arms
Add the long sleeves of Santa’s coat. Now, attach the fluffy cuffs. Then, outline Santa’s gloves to keep his hands warm.
Draw the Pants
Draw the upright shape of Santa’s pants.
Add the Boots
Add the outline of his boots below his pants.
Shade Santa’s Clothes and the Reindeer’s Nose and Scarf
Fill in the fluffy base of Santa’s hat, the cuffs and hem of his clothes with an off white color. Next, shade Santa’s hat, coat and pants as well as the reindeer’s nose and scarf with red.
Add Shading to Santa’s Head
Color Santa’s skin with peach. Next, use a cream color for his beard and eyebrows. Now, fill in the mouth with dark red.
Color the Eyes, Belt, Buttons, Gloves and Boots
Fill in the eyes, buttons, gloves, boots and belt strap with black. Then, color the belt buckle with yellow.
Add Color to the Reindeer’s Body
Use shades of brown to color the reindeer’s body.
Fill in the Antlers and Hooves
Fill in the reindeer’s antlers and hooves with a darker brown color.
