Outline the Walls
First, draw two vertical lines to outline the walls of the haunted house. Use a ruler to help you in this step.
Attach the Roof
Attach the V-shaped roof of the house.
Draw the Door
Draw a U-shaped line to form the door.
Outline the Windows
Form the rectangular outline of the windows.
Add the Grills
Add the grills of the windows by drawing straight lines.
Draw a Ghost
Draw an outline of a ghost peeking from the top window. Add two shaded ovals for its eyes and form its frowning mouth.
Form the Cobweb
Start forming the radial threads of a large cobweb on the house by creating straight lines as shown.
Draw the Capture Threads
Draw wavy lines similar to the illustration to form the capture threads of the cobweb.
Outline the Grass
Outline the overgrown tall grass by drawing pointy horizontal lines.
Add Trees
Add tall trees on the sides of the haunted house.
Draw Bats
Draw the outline of bats flying above the haunted house.
Color the House
Color the walls with cream. Next, shade the roof and door with brown. Then, color the bottom windows yellow, and the top window black.
Fill in the Ghost
Fill in the ghost’s body with white, and its mouth with red.
Shade the Bats and Trees
Shade the bats and trees with black or any other color that is super dark!
Add Color to the Background
Use a dark purple color for the sky, and green for the grass.
